Congrats on all the progress you've made with presenting. That's exactly what it takes—repetition. I feel for you on the turn down after six months of corresponding about a job. It's the worst part of gig work. Happens all the time with speaking work. I hate it. But like you mention, you just have to remember the big picture. Every "no" is closer to the next yes.

Thanks Rick. Appreciate the unwavering support. Remembering that line. One door closes and another one opens.

I'm inspired, John. Not just by the piece itself but by the fact that you wrote and published this in less than a day. I'm grateful we were paired and look forward to sharing my essay when it's done. Maybe next Runway I can be like you?

Thanks Alissa! Really grateful we got to spend 2 breakout rooms together. Laid the foundation for this piece. Haha I think I chose an easier topic - your dad’s story is wild and deserved a few more hours to get all the details in.

It was awesome to see you in the sprint, and I loved what you've used it for. This is a great piece—testament to the fact that you can produce good writing in a day :)

Great output from the sprint! Another mountain mastered!

1. I can’t even imagine the you who struggled with presenting!

2. This is a reminder: When you’re hating on selling yourself, reframe: you are offering your very substantial gifts. They should be so lucky! 😀
