This is a great piece, John, and it really resonated. I have read some of Pressfield's books and had forgotten these important lessons. Great reminder. I kind of fell off the horse this week and missed publishing because of just way too many commitments and crises. Reading this, I'm inspired to climb back on. And, Bagger Vance is one of my favorite golf movies, too.

Hey John I loved this issue. #2, #3, #5, and #9 were my favourites. #3 was particularly powerful.

I was wondering if you could elaborate on #1. How exactly can we be our own obstacle?

Thanks Ishan. Great hearing from you again buddy. Good question -- for me it comes down to staying between too much self-doubt and too much ego. Being in a confident, but humble zone where we can perform best. Curious to hear what it signifies for you?

That's interesting. I don't know what it signifies for me, but it did stand out to me. Maybe I should ponder over it and see!

Thanks for this John. #s 5, 6, & 10 most resonate in this moment, but all those 10 lessons are a perpetually relevant lazy Susan of useful flavors to add to the work day.

100% Rick. Funny how different rules can resonate in different moments. I recall #8 resonating the most when I posted this to Twitter a while ago. All powerful in their own right. Appreciate the comment.
