John, what a great essay this week. The combination of topics was not only enjoyable but such a contribution. I’m familiar with Burkman but not the 3-3-3, and will dig into that and adopt it in my life. And then of course pairing Alissa’s terrific piece with Angela’s Ashes was perfect.

I love it when you show up in my inbox. 🙏🙏

This was great, John. Love your illustration of the 3-3-3 technique -- it's something I find myself doing now but struggled to maintain when in previous jobs that demanded the constant pulling of my attention in a million directions at once. Nonetheless, it's a great model to strive towards. And congrats on the interview, sounds like a wonderful experience you've extrapolated insightful lessons from.

Thanks Jack. Yeah I also like this system. Makes me feel a bit better when I can't grind out 10 hours per day haha. Happy we get to connect and read each other's work.
